  14. I am an ISP using MultiTech modems without a single problem related to the
  15. MultiTechs.  My subscribers the use USR modems typically have no problems
  16. connecting -- USR modems are good modems for dialing up to MultiTechs.  If
  17. I were to guess at why you (or Baron) are having problems, it would be
  18. either bad lines (can be easily tested), miss-configured MultiTechs (very
  19. likely), miss-configured subscriber modem (also very likely), or the
  20. subscriber is using and RPI modem (some of the new USR Sportsters are RPI
  21. modems).
